Non-JUPAS Applications Will Begin Soon

Admission to 2023 intake at universities in Hong Kong for non-JUPAS candidates is opening soon.

Application for the University of Hong Kong will start on Sep 20, with the deadline for the first-round of evaluation on noon, Nov 16. Shortlisted candidates may be invited for interviews between November and January 2023. Applications received after noon (HKT) Nov 16 will be considered on a rolling basis, and interviews will be extended on a case-by-case basis. Reference and supporting documents for first-round evaluation need to be submitted by Dec 1, 2022. Announcement for the first-round results will be announced starting Dec 6. The faculties of Dentistry, Law, Medicine will release the results before 17 February 2023. Applicants can submit up to 5 subject choices, with one being the first choice and the other four being considered equally ranked. The most competitive programs such as Bachelor of Medicine or Bachelors of Surgery must be chosen as the first choice.

Application for HKUST will commence on Oct 3, with the deadline of the first-round of evaluation on Nov 20. In late December, Early Round offers will be announced. The deadline for Main Round Application is January 8 and the results will be announced in Feb 2023 and onwards. Applicants can choose up to 2 subject choices, with the first choice as the priority.
