𝙃𝙤𝙣𝙜 𝙆𝙤𝙣𝙜 𝙎𝙘𝙝𝙤𝙡𝙖𝙧𝙨𝙝𝙞𝙥 𝙛𝙤𝙧 𝙀𝙭𝙘𝙚𝙡𝙡𝙚𝙣𝙘𝙚 𝙎𝙘𝙝𝙚𝙢𝙚
All awardees will get a non-means-tested scholarship to cover tuition up to HK$300,000 per year. For living and other study-related expenditures, students who require additional support will receive a means-tested stipend up to HK$200,000 per year. The scholarship will endure the normal undergraduate program period. After graduating, scholarship recipients must work in Hong Kong for at least two years or the duration of the scholarship, whichever is longer.

Interview: April 2023 onwards. Only shortlisted applicants with unconditional offers from the chosen university(ies)/institution(s) and program(s) will be invited to interviews to examine their overall credentials.
𝙎𝙞𝙧 𝙀𝙙𝙬𝙖𝙧𝙙 𝙔𝙤𝙪𝙙𝙚 𝙈𝙚𝙢𝙤𝙧𝙞𝙖𝙡 𝙎𝙘𝙝𝙤𝙡𝙖𝙧𝙨𝙝𝙞𝙥 𝙁𝙤𝙧 𝙊𝙫𝙚𝙧𝙨𝙚𝙖𝙨 𝙎𝙩𝙪𝙙𝙞𝙚𝙨
The value of the award for undergraduate study is up to HK$280,000 per year, up to 3 years. The Sir Edward Youde Memorial Fund Council may adjust downward the value by taking into account the actual university fees, necessary living expenses and other award(s) held concurrently by the scholar(s) to finance their overseas studies.
The application priod is usually during July and September. Application for 2023/2024 is already closed.
Short-listed applicants will be invited to attend the first round of interviews in January 2023. If found suitable, applicants will be invited for a final interview to be held around February/March 2023.
𝙅𝙖𝙧𝙙𝙞𝙣𝙚 𝙁𝙤𝙪𝙣𝙙𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 𝙎𝙘𝙝𝙤𝙡𝙖𝙧𝙨𝙝𝙞𝙥
Each scholarship will be sufficient enough to cover fees, tuition, books and equipment, board and accommodation,reasonable living expenses, and travel to and from the University at the beginning and end of the course for which it is awarded.Scholarships may be awarded for a duration of 3 or 4 years to study for any subject offered by one of the Foundation’s network colleges, which are Exeter College, Oriel College, The Queen's College, Trinity College at University of Oxford, and Downing College, Magdalene College, Peterhouse and Trinity College at University of Cambridge.
Application usually opens in August. Application for 2023 was closed. Invitation to the first round of interview will be sent in December 2022 and the Invitations to Final-round Interviews will be sent in January 2023.
𝙋𝙧𝙞𝙣𝙘𝙚 𝙋𝙝𝙞𝙡𝙞𝙥 𝙎𝙘𝙝𝙤𝙡𝙖𝙧𝙨𝙝𝙞𝙥
This scholarship was founded to enable talented Hong Kong students to pursue an undergraduate degree at the University of Cambridge.The value of the non means-tested part is £4,500 per annum together with one Hong Kong to London economy class return air ticket per year. The means-tested part is up to cover the full tuition fee, college fee, and basic living expenses.
The scholarship is normally tenable for the duration of the undergraduate course of three years. In certain cases and subject to good academic performance, the it may be extended to cover a fourth year.
The application period is the same as that of Cambridge, with the deadline on Oct 15. and the interview is conducted in December.
