QS World's University 2022 has just been published. MIT tops the ranking for the 10th consecutive year. Oxford has moved up to No.2 (from No. 5 in 2021) while Harvard fell out of the top 3 unfortunately, and is replaced by Cambridge (up from No. 7 in the 2021 edition ) and Stanford in joint third place.

Mainland China is home to two of the world's top 20 universities (Tsinghua University, 17th globally and 3rd in Asia, and Peking University, 18th globally and 4th in Asia) for the first time ever.

University of Hong Kong is still the top university in town, remaining at 22nd globally and 5th in Asia, followed by HKUST which dropped 7 places to 34th.
