2022-2023 Common Application Essay Prompts Remain the Same
It’s time to start the preparation for the application for the 2023 US undergraduate entry.
The majority of the applicants would go through the Common Application, which is an online platform that students can apply to most universities and colleges in the US e.g Ivy League (while California Universities like UC Berkeley or LA has a separate, independent system). With the application, the Common App essay is the principal personal statement that candidates will submit to universities that utilise the Common App to centralize their applications. Candidates are often required to write an article in 650 words on one of the seven essay topics.
For 2022-2023, the Common App essay prompts will stay the same as previous application cycles.
The full set of Common App prompts is as below. We encourage applicants to read through them thoroughly and start reflecting and thinking, so as to plan early and well.

In addition to the Common App essays, some universities require supplemental or collegiate essays that might come in all shapes and sizes. Prospective students are encouraged to check the details of the requirements of their targeted schools ahead of time.
The essay is a significant factor in selectivity by universities in the US. If you need help with essay brainstorming, writing, and other application preparation, please feel free to let us know.
