On July 16th 2017, the Norton House Admission Team held an insight seminar for prospective parents and students looking to gain acceptance into Oxford and Cambridge University. A common question we get asked here at Norton House is “what is the lifestyle like at these universities?”. To answer your questions, we brought you individuals who could respond the best – past and present Oxbridge students! Not only were guests introduced to the notion of university life at these prestigious schools, but further information was presented to help pupils increase their chances of successful admission.
Mr. Alan Chau and Ms. Arlene Lo offered their expert advice when it came to the subject of life at Oxford and Cambridge University. From location-specific benefits, tips and tricks for ensuring you get the most out of your time in the UK as a student, and how to balance the study-play lifestyle. Additionally, some key points regarding one’s UCAS application, knowledge expansion, and UKCAT basics were covered.
We hope everyone learnt some practical, useful, and insightful tips from our Oxbridge experts on the day. While getting into Oxford or Cambridge is certainly no easy task, Norton House are here to make your application experience more bearable and achievable.
